IBI provides integrated resources for companies involved in drug discovery, development and/or diagnostics by providing comprehensive analysis with a commercial platform that is reproducible, flexible, and robust. By teaming with IBI, not only is development time shortened and novel information obtained, but significant savings are realized by eliminating capital equipment purchases, facilities design, and recruitment of skilled personnel.

Currently, IBI products are available through partnerships and contract service collaborations, providing routine as well as custom assay design and data analysis. Contract service builds on a range of opportunities, from sample projects based on a limited, defined scope to collaborations involving broader targets with larger numbers of samples, to full platform integration and Technology Access.

Research alliances and licensing partnerships often include shared objectives and rewards. For platform developers, the integration of standardized sample preparation with direct analysis offers a solution to the use of mass spectrometry as a tool for routine, high throughput analysis.
